Last July 19th, the staff of Cascade Insurance Center gathered in the morning at High Desert Middle School to help raise money for cancer research.  The annual "Relay for Life" event, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, started at 10:00 am on that Saturday, and continued for 24 hours, finishing with the closing ceremonies Sunday morning.

We set up a shade tent and handed out ice cold water for the walkers, and took turns walking laps ourselves.  Our effort resulted in $1859 raised for the American Cancer Society, smashing our goal of $1500.
